Are you impatient for spring impatiens?

Even if you aren’t among the thousands freezing without power in the Northeast, it’s already been a tough winter.  As we all know, it’s just getting started! Outside my home near Clearwater, Florida, the impatiens I planted last May are still going strong in late December.  These flowers, still wet from a passing shower, are a far more welcome sight than a driveway needing shoveling.

The flowers are lovely. Living in a high rise condo there is nowhere I can plant anything. When we were in S.C. however I did plant many flowers…..Joan
